She has a strong voice and sings with rock energy. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com) Recommended first album:Wrestling Consciousness is her debut Recordings:Wrestling Consciousness (2011) Wrestling ConsciousnessRelease info:2011 Availability:Unknown Ecto priority:Recommended for rock fans Group members:Claudine Dentoni—vocals Guest artists:Isaac Bolivar—lead guitar Produced by:Mark Kenoly Comments:This isn't anything startling unusual, but is done with a lot of energy and verve, so it's hard not to enjoy it. Claudine's songs have a positive, driving force, and she wails and croons and belts it out with strength and confidence. She even dares to do the one-millionth cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and does an impressive job of it. Anyone who likes rock music, especially those who like women making powerful rock and rock ballads, will find a lot to enjoy here.
