Mike Estep Band
Country of origin:
Type of music generally:
Most recent release, From The Vault (Compilation, 2007); most recent release of all-new material, Next in Line (2002)
Hard for me to do with any precision. Closest I can think of: Imagine 10,000 Maniacs with a male lead singer, and a woman among the backup vocalists. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
One cover on their album, own otherwise.
This is an independent rock band from central New York State, which has pressed and distributed its first album on its own. Estep had previously released an album as a solo artist. (email@example.com)

Recommended. Moderate priority. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Dani Gottuso—vocals, percussion
Brett Hobin—bass guitar on 5 tracks
Jeff Favalo and Steve Orlando
Their brand of semisoft guitar rock makes for pleasant listening, but there is nothing bland about it. The lyrics are well-crafted and interesting—appealing to intelligent people without being overly esoteric. This is a band that deserves to succeed. (email@example.com)
