Dream pop in the extreme. Mellow, childish, sometimes alsmost monotone (but charming) half-whispered vocals over driving riffs and rhythms. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Phil Vinall

Comments:

The singer, Anne, half whispers, half sings, half talks. What? Three halves? That's kind of what this music is like. There's a definite Julee Cruise feel to the vocals and a definite shoegazer feel to the music and songwriting. My own real complaint is that it's a little repetitive. The packaging is glorious and it alone is worth the price of admission, all fairy light, colorful beads, and dark glossiness. Hmm. That rather describes the music as well.
