Covers/own material:Own General comments:This band has a unique sound. They're doing experimental art rock songs and tunes with sounds from ecletic sources: touches of electronica, Gothic rock, prog rock, you name it. Singer Kara Trott is a wonder, and my favourites are where her vocal talents are highlighted. Trithemis FestivaRelease info:2004—Trojan Horse MultiMedia Productions Availability:Unknown Ecto priority:Highly recommended for fans of experimental art rock Group members:Kara Trott—voclas Comments:My favourite track here is their most traditional, "Flann O'Brien"—it's just such so gorgeous with rich vocals and terrific backing. The rest is rewarding and intriguing and goes all sorts of fascinating places, but this song stands tall. iTunes labels this "metal" but I never did understand their categorization, though there is some heavy rock in the mix here, too.
