Comments:

While it treads a familiar singer-songwriter path, this album has a rootsy vibe and verve that help it rise above the pack. Both the songwriting and singing have a delightful energy. The first track, the breezy "Conversation in the Dark", is a lively introduction to the album and clearly the first single. Songs like "Secret Power", "Seesaw", and "It's Aint' the End" in particular are immediately recognizable, yet fresh. Highly recommended for fans of country-flavoured pop. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)
