Comments:

Kristin Mooney's latest song cycle is inspired by the loss of her father. She evokes grief but also hope in these songs and they are easy to relate to. "In the grass" is a soft hush of a song borne by the singer's strong delivery. The title song is also moving and she works in a version of "I say a little prayer" without missing a beat. A wonderful record. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
