Delightful melodic pop. They sound like a cross between Cocteau Twins and a Mexican The Sundays with electronica added, and hints of Jane Siberry in Claudia Morfin's voice when she reaches into her upper range, though her lower range doesn't have that resemblance. The songs are always ethereal, but move between soft ethereality to insistent rock. (Neile)

This is a lovely collection of songs--pretty acoustic-sounding overall (acoustic guitar is often the foreground instrument) and with great vocals up front and center. The songs are ethereal but also pretty energetic and insistent at times. The resemblance to Cocteau Twins in the softer songs is heightened for me personally by my lack of knowledge of Spanish--Claudia Morfin seems to be singing in her own language like Liz Fraser does, though I'm sure for someone who understands the language that experience will be different. In the bouncier songs she sounds more Harriet Wheeler (of The Sundays) here, though. This is a collection that will please those looking for sunny pop and those looking for more ethereal music. A little less ethereal than the first album, a little less like The Sundays, a touch more haunting and dark-sounding overall. The last third of the disc are remixes--very beat-driven and electronic. Pretty funky. Still, I like this a lot. (Neile)
