Comments:

Samantha Lien AKA Volary makes gorgeous-voiced alternative pop with an array of fascinating sounds and songs. "That Girl" is a joyous, galloping explosion of fire with a lovely vocal. "Butterflies" is a soft hush of a song that highlights her voice well. "Love and tragedy" is an up-tempo song with defiant words that belie the title. It's a cunningly delivered song. It's an intriguingly multi-faceted and expressive record. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
