Deep and evocative—impressively affecting without being overwrought. (Neile)

What a gorgeous, mournful, powerful album this is. It obsessed me for weeks and weeks with its emotive power, and how it feels like an emotional journey. Every time I play it I get caught up in it. Though she sounds a little like other artists (Bat for Lashes, Torres) her inventiveness is her own. I adore this album. (Neile)
Marked For Death (2016)
2016—Sargent House—SH 162
Emma Ruth Rundle—all guitars, vocals
Andrew Clinco—drums, percussion
Emma Ruth Rundle and Sonny DiPerri
Such a great album! Haunting and moody in all the best ways. Just as great (or perhaps even better) as Some Heavy Ocean. (Neile)
