Comparisons:

A hard straightforward singer, a little like PJ Harvey, Zoë; and maybe a little Kristin Hersh with a touch of Hole. (Neile)

Covers/own material:

Own

General comments:

Boo Trundle's sound is straightforward, strong, and driven. She frequently almost shouts her lyrics, but the overall effect is surprisingly compelling and musical. Her catchy sound and lyrics are intriguing and individual. This is stuff to play loudly: her music confuses me a little but still digs its hooks in my mind.(Neile)

Comments:

It takes a while to hear the individual songs on this album but suddenly they'll grab you. "Siva" in particular, with its driving sound and haunting lyrics has made me hit replay many times. This is active listening from the beginning of "Take Lightly" to the end of the album. (Neile)

Every song on this ep is a winner. There are two overlaps with The Vast Underneath, "Siva" and "Lynched", but both are good songs and I could listen to "Siva" a hundred times (and probably have) and not tire of it. (Neile)

Comments:

More of Boo Trundle's jangly and tough songs. Why isn't this woman better known? (Neile)

Why the ads?
