General comments:

The music is experimental jazz of an atmospheric ethereal style; the vocals are ethereal in that sparse Nordic icy style reminiscent of Agnes Buen Garnas's work with Jan Garbarek, but also full of little yelps and screams. Not as over-the-top as some experimentalists but still pushing boundaries. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Comments:

A lovely collection of songs and tunes from the ethereal, experimental outskirts of the jazz world. Highly listenable, either as foreground or background music, the instrumentation is strong with Sissel Vera Pettersen's lovely vocals working as the focal instrument in the overall sound. It's lyrical, sparse, full of odd corners and quirks but still has a strong flow. Anyone interested in the experimental edges of vocals and/or jazz will find this album a treat.
