There's something a little classic Talking Heads-like about them at times. listenRelease info:2002—Indies Records—MAM 164-2 Availability:Tamizdat Ecto priority:Highly recommended for fans of odd pop Group members:Christoph Pajer (Metamorphosis)—vocals, violin, guitar, bass Guest artists:Petr Vavrík—bass on 3 tracks Produced by:BOO Comments:I was hooked on this from the instant I heard "The Sea" with its Spanish rhythm and male and female voices playing off each other. The following song, "Don't Speak To Me" is a little like classic Talking Heads. My favourite track is the sarcastic "Lost On the Way" where the rhymes lead the story into quite an odd place. A strong and highly listenable album. (Neile) |
