General comments:

Sleigh Bells's music is a unique comnination of heavy percussion rock sounds with playful pop vocals. Delightful noisy fun. This isn't music all ectophiles will enjoy, but anyone who likes loud, unrelenting rock will likely get a kick out of this. It's not artrock, but it's well-constructed and I enjoy the hell out of their sound. (Neile)

I love Sleigh Bells!
In small doses they are stunning. Fuzzy poppy goodness. (neal)

Comments:

One of the best driving-around-in-the-summer albums in years. It's the kind of album you want to play loud, with the windows down, and I did just that, so for me, this album *is* the summer of 2010. It is heavy percussive rock, but adding the light pop vocals totally felt turned into hot weather music for me. Whenever I play this, I can feel the warmth, the breezes, the beat of city summer traffic, everything. The lyrics may not mean anything (I don't know, I can't hear them well enough to tell), but I don't care, I just enjoy this. Seriously irresistable. (Neile)

Comments:

A step beyond and perhaps more sophisticated and diverse than Treats, but still the same loud, eenergizing sound. This time we have elaborate artwork and lyrics! I suspect this one is going to be the summer of 2012 album for me. I can't resist this noise. (Neile)
