See also:Eva Cassidy's site Comparisons:Norah Jones, Diana Krall Covers/own material:Covers General comments:Her voice was so lovely. I did a little research. It's been a while since I read this, so I might have the details a little wrong, but I believe she died in the mid 90s of melanoma. I think she was in her early 30's at the time. She was mentioned as a fairly humble person who never quite got used to the fact that people would pay to hear her sing. She was remembered quite fondly by the musicians who played with her. She has a couple of discs out, but Songbird was released posthumously if I remember correctly. (JavaHo@aol.com) Recommended first album:Songbird Recordings:

Definitely worth a listen to those who enjoy a good vocalist. (JavaHo@aol.com) |
