This compilation was made to benefit the organization World Hunger year that exists to combat poverty and hunger. The selection of artists holds a high standard throughout, making this a good enterprise artistically as well as morally. My favorites include the gifted Gregory Douglass, the country-styled Kristy Kruger, the lovely Anne Heaton and the exciting strains of NLX. But all of this is enjoyable and original material.
