Fever RayRelease info:2009 Availability:Wide Ecto priority:Highly recommended Group members:Fever Ray—vocals Guest artists:Hampus Lundgren—double bass (track 8) Produced by:Fever Ray, Christoffer Berg, Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid Comments:One of my top albums of 2009. A surprise. On the first two listens, I absolutely hated the coldness of this, but very slowly it crept in, its icy elegance working its way under my skin. Not easy listening, but gripping. There's something icily beautiful and surreal about it. This one's definitely in my top ten. (adamk@zoom.co.uk) |
