Comments:

For me this was a real bait-and-switch. I found one advance sample from this disc—"This Is What It Is" which has an urgent, contemporary feel that the rest of this is lacking. While I like both "Ocean" and "Rosemary", most of this leaves me cold—it's just not my thing. Her moody indiefolk sound didn't do much for me at all, I guess because there's so much of that around here. I was hoping for more like "This is What it is" and only got one more track that was somewhat like it. The rest of the album is somber and world-weary country-ish singer-songwriter stuff. (Neile)
