Formerly of The Cranberries, Dolores O'Riordan's first outing as a solo artist is strongly reminiscent of her work with her band. The songs are very much in the pop mode. Some are particularly hooky for me, like "In The Garden" and "Human Spirit; most are somewhat more familiar-sounding. I would say overall that this is well worth getting for those who enjoy the mainstream of pop/rock, and certainly any The Cranberries fan will love this. Dolores O'Riordan's vocals are, as always, interesting and impassioned. She doesn't really chart new territory from The Cranberries' first two albums, but it's solid pop/rock. Her voice is also a bit less affected than on The Cranberries' albums, which may or may not be a plus. As for me, I like it both ways. (JoAnn Whetsell)
