David Simon's high, androgynous vocals remind me of Casey Stratton and sometimes Sarah McLachlan. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Recommended first album:
Collision is the only one we've heard
David Simon—vocals, backing vocals, piano, Rhodes, organ, guitars, electric guitars, acoustic guitars, E.P., vibes E.P., pad synth, brass arrangements, string arrangements
Greg Kiss—guitars (1–4, 10, 11), acoustic guitar (5, 6, 8), electric guitar (7), rhythm guitar (9)
Oli Whitworth, Dave Seck and David Simon
The music is nicely-orchestrated pop with some truly stunning songs. "The Urge" sees Simon tackle a tough melody with truly stellar harmonies and an underlying tension he handles well. "Fire to the Sky" is a ballad that Simon handles with his usual skill and finesse. "Twisted" achieves a kind of drama that the singer handles with gusto. It's a very accomplished and promising debut in all. (email@example.com)
