General comments:

Alienation is a common theme in modern rock; but Freifeld handles it unusually well. In his narrative world, life sucks; but his lyrics excel at explaining what sucks about it. The music is very well-crafted, and complements the mood of the lyrics. This is a much more lyrical and sophisticated approach to alienation than punk rock, which is the genre often thought of as the epitome of that particular theme. (mapravat@prairienet.org)

Ecto priority:

Hard to pinpoint. This is far from classic ectophilic music, but it is superb of its kind. I highly recommend it on its own merits. For those heavily into ecto ethereality, it will be an interesting change of pace. (mapravat@prairienet.org)
