Comparisons:

There' something very early Jane Siberry-like about Ellen Turner's style

Covers/own material:

Own

General comments:

Ellen Turner's voice is a dead ringer for Jane Siberry, and many of the songs remind me strongly of Siberry's early quirky folky work. All of the albums are a little uneven but there are gems on each one. The songs are mostly low-key, focusing on Turner's appealing vocal performance and lyrics. (Neile)
