Kate Campbell's got three or four albums out, the first of which, "Songs From the Levee", is fairly twangy country/folk. It's a great album, if you like that sort of thing. (Sherlyn Koo)

she's a singer/songwriter type from Mississippi, pretty cool but [not my thing]. (meth@smoe.org)

Comments:

A compelling album that came out a few years ago I just discovered this year, from a great Mississippi singer-songwriter. An album of traditional and originally penned Gospel songs—"The Last Song" (about the song Jesus and the disciples sing after the Last Supper) is one of the best things I've heard in a long time.
