General comments:

Strong-voiced pop, very mainstream-sounding but with occasional touches of folk/country. Her songs are the kind of lively, familiar-sounding pop that so many people love, and she does have a powerful voice--it's mostly mellow but she can really belt it out when appropriate. Comments:

This album is a mix of pop, country, and folk, and will probably appeal mostly to fans who like all three musical flavours. While her songwriting is generally just a little too familiar, Dayna Malow's vocals shine here, ranging from mellow, soft, jazzy to almost torchy. My favourite track is the jazzy, energetic "Picture Me" and while I'm not a fan of country music, the swingy country "What Did I Ever See in You" is a knock-out, and should have Nashville pounding at her door.
