Comments:

Stacy Clark reminds me of recent Imogen Heap on this record, she makes slightly folk-inflected ectronica. Her songs are strong enough to stand out from others in this field. "Closer" does the poppy bit of the genre well, Clark's vocals adding sweetness. "Peppermint Patties" has a nice stop-start thing going on with the sound and a nice tune. "Recluse" makes good use of guest vocalist Tom Higgenson and has a good chorus. It's a very nice debut. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
