Jeneen Terrana combines sharp lyrics with memorable tunes. The langourous "Someone Else Has been Loving you" really gets to me. Its heartbreak is almost touchable. My CreationRelease info:2008—Bitesized Records Availability:See Jeneen Terrana's site Ecto priority:Recommended Group members:Jeneen Terrana—vocals, rhythm guitar Guest artists:Scott Dennis—drums, percussion, backing vocals Produced by:Ben Hazard Comments:Jeneen Terrana's new album is just as sharp as her debut was. The sound is now more country and she handles it well. Her vocals are warm and inviting and her melodies are good. "New Book" speaks of starting over and its country slant is well done. "Bloody Valentine" kisses off a bad relationship in a sarcastic manner and has a good tune. "Train" is a simple and sweet song of saying goodbye to a loved one. She also covers Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and puts her own stamp on it. A very likeable album in all. (stjarnell@yahoo.com) Thanks to Anna Maria Stjärnell for work on this entry.
