Comparisons:

Jenn Vix in style a tiny bit

Covers/own material:

Own with some lyrical quotations from other writers, occasional use of traditional music, other arrangements

General comments:

Artless-feeling quirky deep-voiced, bouncy dark pop with electronic backing. Her press calls her work: "gothic-progressive electro-pop" and says "both her deep and melodious vocals and her keyboard technique are quite distinctive." Both these statements are quite true. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Comments:

This is a disc for particular tastes: if you don't like pop-py homegrown electronic backing, deep voices, and a sense of artlessness, you're not going to like this. In other words, it's definitely not for everyone. However, if you have an open mind, you'll find this disc has its charms—these are songs that tell stories, so people who like story songs should check out "Anastasia's Clone" and "Two Swans". Fans of esperanto should check out the last two songs, which have been translated into and are sung on that language. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Comments:

This is a four-track ep, including new versions of a song from facing image that also appeared sung in Esperanto on undinal songs, another from undinal songs, one from an upcoming album, and the fourth a live version of the first track.
The self-designed production is a little more complicated here, but again this definitely isn't a disc for everyone. This is so quirky as to be almost astonishing. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)
