Comments:

North Elementary make atmospheric indie pop that sometimes recalls Scottish band Delgados and sometimes Mercury Rev.
With "Lazy, Daisy" things get "Heartbreakin' in Machine" is pretty but still edgy and has some unusual shifts in pace. "Chemicals" is lovely but slightly scary in its subject matter (addiction breaking up a couple). Margaret White's haunted co-lead vocals bring out the sadness fully. The title track is energetic and epic. This is a great record in all. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
