General comments:

Jeanne T. Arrigo is a singer songwriter very much in the Joni Mitchell vein. Unlike so many others who allow this path, she has both a strong, expressive voice and a strong, expressive guitar style. Her songwriting matches these, and the combination is a powerful, highly listenable whole. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Comments:

This five-song debut ep is a harbinger of great things to come. Jeanne T. Arrigo shows off her great vocal, guitar, and songwriting chops so well it's hard to believe this is a debut. All five songs here appear on the first full-length, The Journey's about to begin..., which I would highly recommend on this basis alone. Heads up, folk/pop fans—you will love this. Everything about this is so well-done, and the songs will take you on a emotional journey well worth taking. Give her music a try—you won't regret it. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)
