WaitingRelease info:2009—self-released Availability:See Melissa Brethauer's site Ecto priority:Recommended Group members:Melissa Brethauer—vocals, guitar, piano Guest artists:Siri Gundersen—violin (1, 10) Produced by:Dominick Pages Comments:Melissa Brethauer has a warm, inviting voice that's very strong and pens some impressive songs on this debut. Opener "Texas on my mind" has a nice, relaxed feel and she really sings well without overdoing it. "Waiting" is a sensitive song about a troubled soul that works well. Her vocals are strong thoughout. "What you do to me" is a sweet love song that shows off the singer's voice well. She's made a strong debut and is set for a bright future in music. (stjarnell@yahoo.com) Thanks to Anna Maria Stjärnell for work on this entry.
