Comparisons:

I would compare her music to someone along the lines of Meredith Brooks (only better)

Covers/own material:

Original material/selected cover songs in concert

General comments:

My first taste of Kathleen was a live performance opening for The Girls Room Tour. As soon as her set ended I went and bought her CD. Her songs are amazing and her stage presence is commanding! (rocketstail@aol.com)

Comments about live performance:

So far I have seen Kathleen live twice. Once solo and once with a full band. Kathleen can bring down the house armed with only her guitar or backed by her INCREDIBLE band! Her songs command attention from the entire audience, and Kathleen knows exactly how to get it! She covered a few songs like "Johnny Feelgood" by Liz Phair, "Right Through You" by Alanis Morissette and an all-out ROCK version of "Walking After Midnight" by Patsy Cline...very well-chosen material. But it's her original stuff that is the most appealing. If you get a chance to see live—DONT MISS IT!!!! (rocketstail@aol.com)

Comments:

Eleven tracks of pure power, amazing lyrics, and straightforward attitude by an immensly talented woman! Kathleen LaGue should be a household name, she's doing things on her own terms (LIONESS RECORDS is her own label). Her debut album is nearly flawless and I haven't begun to tire of the CD yet. "Play One for Me", "Over My Head", and "Unglued" are three stand out tracks on the album that should hook any listener. (rocketstail@aol.com)

Kathleen LaGue is also an actor and has appeared in movies, on TV, etc.
