Comments:

Mellow but energetic and highly listenable guitar-based instrumentals with a quirky touch. This is music that rewards close listening to hear the instruments and how's she's playing with the melodies. I suspect Christine Bougie has a sense of humour. Actually, I know it, because nothing is more clear than the title with a cover drawing featuring a hamster dressed up as an Elvis impersonator wwith a woman beside him holding his hand in a bed with hearts at the heardboard and skulls with red candles on them at the footboard. Oh, and cherubic cats. The music is not quite that quirky, but it *is* that charming. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)
