Type of music generally:

Ethereal ectronic alternative pop, sometimes with a world music flavour

Status:

Comparisons:

Like a dancey Enya

Covers/own material:

Own

General comments:

Ethereal vocals running over insistent, dancey drums (usually electronic, only occasionally unfortunately macine-y). The overall sound is varied—a touch dark, moody, insistent, though with plenty of more playful moments. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Great stuff. Has slightly synthetic drum sounds, but is otherwise brave and stunning music. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)

Comments:

The constant thread with this album is the energy. The songs vary a lot in flavour, moving from the ethereal to dance to world flavours (sometimes middle eastern, sometimes Celtic, sometimes Indian), the vocals first ethereal, then childlike, then deeper. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com
