Comments:

A very likeable and sprightly folk/Americana record with some impressive singing. "Heartland" is a sad song that Glaze handles well, and her band is on point too. "That's how I learned to sing the blues" is heartfelt, and bassist Fred Sanders does a good job with the lead vocal. "Prisoner in disguise" is a ballad that Linda Ronstadt made famous, and this rendition is wonderfully poignant. It's a great album all told. ((stjarnell@yahoo.com)
