General comments:

the extra guitarist is Unrest's old bassist—bridget cross just changed instruments when air miami formed. this was my first time hearing air miami and my reaction was promise unfulfilled. the songs are not unlike Unrest's, which i think is a good thing. however, nearly every song concluded with these beautiful, noisy cresendos that just didn't go on long enough. wah! five or ten minutes of some of those bits would have made me a goofily smiling camper. oh well. their gig didn't make me want to rush out and buy their album, but i still am keeping an eye out for it.
