General comments:

another band i've become addicted to is babe the blue ox. even though it seems like they play every night of the week, i've never made it into new york to see them. their latest, people, has a strong rhythmic element and a crunchy guitar attack. vocal duties are shared by guitarist tim thomas and bassist rose thomson. hanna fox completes the trio on twisty drums. Perfect, happy, complex, groovy pop. I expect many more great things from this band in the future, assuming they don't implode á la Tribe. (dixon@physics.Berkeley.EDU)
