A collection of wonderful, lo-fi folkish pop. Surprising powerful and lively and unforgettable given its overall quiet feel. Favourite tracks are "Riverside" and "Philharmonics", but I really like the whole album. One of my favourites of the year. (Neile)

A good follow-up to her lovely debut album. (Marion)

Yes, it's beautiful! Highly recommended. Alovely collection of songs with and without vocals. (JoAnn Whetsell)

Truly gorgeous, this is a strong follow-up to Philharmonics, and may even exceed it. A lovely listening experience and one I can listen to over and over. Definitely on of the best albums of 2013. So, so lovely, moody, and quietly powerful. (Neile)

Suffers from the same shortcomings as the Katie Melua album: it's missing some punch. (raschee@gmail.com)

Comments:

Another gorgeous album, less folky and more orchestral and dreamy than its predecessors. (JoAnn Whetsell)

Agnes Obel goes from strength to strength. This album is just as magical as Aventine (which I adored), and adds just a touch of playfulness. Brilliant, and one of my top albums of the year. Agnes Obel is becoming one of my favourite artists. (Neile)

One of the best albums of the year. (christina_skov@hotmail.com, Marion, k_hester_k@yahoo.co.nz)
