Comparisons:

Songs like other mainstream country/pop artists, vocals like early Sarah McLachlan

Covers/own material:

Own and co-written

General comments:

Alayna's vocals are highly reminiscent of early Sarah McLachlan. Her songs are well-crafted very mainstream pop—the tunes are constructed very conventionally, both lyrically and musically, and Alayna's vocals are strong. She's bent on mainstream success, and certainly stands a good chance of getting there. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Comments:

A debut EP that shows exactly how well Alayna manages mainstream country pop material. She has a powerful and gorgeous voice and uses it expressively and well in these very conventional songs. She can manage the range of ballads and more rocking songs. It's a strong debut, especially for fans of the genre, but I'd love to hear what she could do with material a little more off the so very well-trodden path she's currently following.
